When I first created NRT I was really excited about it as it changed my life and i wanted to give that to others. One day I thought I could turn NRT into a magic trick. It'd give me a reason to walk upto people, I'd have something to say, it would be good social skill practice for me, good for my confidence. A win, win, win....
I developed a new process then tried it at a small barbecue. There were about 10 of us. So I tested out with the people I knew. How did I do the NRT as a magic trick.
I simply asked "Want to see a magic trick that will blow your mind?" They said "yeah sure". I replied "okay, think of your worse negative emotion about an ex partner your worst one negative emotion and nod when you can feel it".
He nods. I then do the flick test with my hand down by my side and 2 seconds after I did the test, I snap my fingers on my other hand in front of their face. Then asked "how do you feel now?" he replied "I don't really feel anything about them, wow, how did you do that" Paraphrasing obviously, but that's sort of how it went.
And did everyone else at the BBQ, same results, by the last ones everyone was standing around as i did the trick, trying to work out how I was doing it.
That started it, from then on i did it every chance I got, even with strangers in the right scenario. Did it to a couple of people, 2 separate incidences where both were clearly distressed, waving arms, yelling etc, and they calmed down within seconds.
Sorry back to the magic trick. I used it to go upto chicks that were out of my league in club or pub and many that weren't. One even went on to become my girlfriend for a while LOL.

A magic trick may be a way to help people within your circle of people that would be skeptical and closed minded about Bob. And they'll want to know how you did it, then it's an option to then tell them about Bob and maybe they'll want more Bob. Or you can just discretely help them via surrogate anyway if your not up for a magic trick.

I imagine in most relationships if one liked Bob they would probably want their partner involved in Bob as well.
